Segilola Ogidan is a multi-award winning British-Nigerian producer, accomplished writer, talented actress, visionary director and Founder of Rehovot Studios Ltd, a Nigerian based production company dedicated to telling authentic Nigerian stories for a global audience. In 2012, she established OKP Productions Ltd, a UK-based production company celebrated for its exceptional ability to conceive, craft, and market multi-award-winning content with a global footprint.
Before this pivotal venture, she served as the Development Executive and Festival Director at Intandem Films, an internationally acclaimed film sales and distribution powerhouse nestled in the heart of Soho, London, where she honed her expertise for an enriching four-year period.
Over her illustrious career spanning 14 years, Segilola has cultivated an unrivalled insight into the intricate dynamics of the entertainment industry, both in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. Her keen understanding of market dynamics, unwavering commitment to creative excellence, and astute grasp of commercial viability have positioned her as a true luminary in her field.
Segilola’s works have garnered the much coveted AMVCA nominations as well as multiple awards Globally, particularly with her directorial debut feature film ‘Tainted Canvas’ at The Monaco International Film Festival (Best Screenplay), Sedona, LA International Film Festival (Best Screenplay), New York Cinematography Awards (Best Cinematography), African International Film Festival (SPECIAL JURY PRIZE FOR OUTSTANDING FILM), Luxor, BUFF and FESPACO among many others. She has successfully orchestrated the distribution of her cinematic masterpieces to prominent platforms, including Sky, Africa Channel, Multichoice (DSTv), Netflix Global, and Amazon Prime.
She is also a renowned actress infusing her performances with a depth and authenticity that leaves audiences spellbound. Some of her credits include, Tainted Canvas, The Men’s Club, A Naija Christmas, Over The Bridge.
At REHOVOT STUDIOS, Segilola is responsible for the overall strategy of the company, ensuring the development of a 1st class slate of film and TV, raising finance, pitching and selling to international Buyers and Distributors and moving the company forward.

She has a BA (Hons) in Media Arts at Royal Holloway University of London and an MA in Cinema Studies from the University of Bristol.
